Nations must fight climate change like terrorism, Rice says

My article is from CNN, whose name is Nations must fight climate change like terrorism, Rice says. This article talks about the global warming, it mentions the Kyoto Protocol which mandates limits on emissions and signed by more than 150 countries all around the world. It mainly tells us we should do our best to fight climate change as we are under the terrorists' attack. And it contains some words said by some experts or officers in several international organizations.

In my opinion, global warming is a serious problem to be solved. As Rice and Bush said, all nations should and must fight it as an enemy. But as we know, US quited the Kyoto Protocol in 2001, having the biggest discharge amount of carbon dioxide. And Australia has neither joined the Kyoto Protocol yet with the second biggest discharge. Some days before I confused that whether China joined the Kyoto Protocol, I have confirmed today China signed it in 1998. So I think all nations especially the countries who have high discharge amount of carbon dioxide should try to reduce their discharges. And fortunately, researches' results show that reducing the discharge of carbon dioxide won't slow down the economy increases. Thank you.
